JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director, and Vice President of Patient Care, the Registered Nurse administers individualized age-appropriate patient care to the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult patient according to the established nursing standards and Nurse Practice Act of Missouri.

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education:

- Graduate of an approved professional nursing program

- BSN preferred

Certification & Licensures:

- Licensed to practice in the state of Missouri as a RN

- BLS Certification

- ACLS Certification (required for Progressive Care Unit within 90 days of hire)

JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse I - V, Department Director, Patient Care Manager, Shift Administrator and Vice President of Patient Care, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible and accountable for the quality care of patients assigned by utilizing the nursing process as defined in the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
