GRADE ASTD14 LOCATION OF POSITION MDH, Allegany County Health Department, Cumberland, MD Main Purpose of Job This part-time contractual position provides a full performance level of nursing care to the patients of the Joseph S. Massie Unit under the direction of a physician or registered nurse. Minimum Qualifications Education: Determined by the Maryland Board of Nursing under the licensing requirements for Practical Nurses. Experience: One year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Note: Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Nursing classifications or Nursing or Health Care Specialist specialty codes in the Nursing field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS Candidates for positions in this classification must possess a current license as a Practical Nurse from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
