A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.

Schedule: Full-time, three 10-hour shifts starting at 5am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts

Compensation: Pay ranges from $33-$47 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
Administer and chart all prescribed medications
Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
Document required patient education efforts
Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
Assist in medication inventory maintenance
Lead a small patient care team
Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
Additional tasks as requested

Accredited nursing degree required

RN- Intensive Care Unit

Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) will assume responsibility and accountability for the adult and geriatric patients undergoing continuous monitoring for cardiac, post-surgical, respiratory, and/or psychiatric diagnoses. The CCU RN will often be active participants in bedside procedures with physicians. He/She will be responsible for certain specialty equipment and procedures such as managing arterial lines, ventilators, hypothermia protocol, and performing peritoneal dialysis. Overview The Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) will work with a team of physicians, other nurses, patient care techs, and other professionals from various departments of the hospital such as Laboratory, Radiology, and Respiratory Therapy. CRHS ED is a certified Level III Trauma Center, AR SAVES spoke site and receiving site, and a designated Arkansas Stroke Ready Hospital (ArSRH). Our Nursery is an 8 bed Level II special care nursery unit which provides care to newborns delivered in our Labor & Delivery unit who are under the care of our Pediatric physician teams from four local clinics. Common diagnosis and care provided to newborns in our Nursery include respiratory distress and oxygen support, jaundice and phototherapy, antibiotic therapy, hypoglycemia management and care of premature infants 32 weeks and older.
