Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. With average stays of two to three weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness the difference your care makes in a patient’s progress. You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives every day. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly 
  • Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence 
  • Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly 
  • Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination 
  • Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques 
  • Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care 

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse
  • Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree

The Concierge also performs patient registration, collection of payments, rooming, and patient discharge. This position is a vital part of the urgent care team that works under the direction of the Site Manager and works closely with the provider and other clinical staff. Must demonstrate discretion; good judgment; diplomacy; decision-making; and a customer service attitude. Collects identification and payor related documentation, conducts registration using EPIC workflow. Measures and documents vitals and communicates the resulting data to the consumer and provider, including temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and pain level. Documents chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications accurately in EPIC for review by provider. Performs and documents laboratory testing and collections per provider orders and/or standard operating procedures, to include venipuncture with prior venipuncture competency check-off.
