Responsibilities

Registered Nurse Unit Managers are responsible for overseeing day to day patient care, supervising, directing and developing nurse staff, and reporting to the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care.

Lead and mentor nursing staff on your unit
Oversee resident care plans and health assessments
Collaborate with physicians and care teams
Audits and completes charting, evaluations, medical forms, and other administrative tasks
Identifies procedural problems and works with the Director of Nursing to resolve issues
Monitor and correct employee job performance and provide evaluations
Foster a positive, team-focused environment

Requirements

Current Licensed Registered Nurse in State of New York

Supervisory or management background
CPR certification
