RN Job Responsibilities:

  • Directs educational & clinical activities for professional and paraprofessional staff to support the development and implementation of appropriate plans of care for clients and to ensure optimal care 

  • Ensures adherence to company & regulatory policies, protocols and procedures by maintaining supervision of staff to promote optimal client care , safety of staff, compliance with regulations etc. 

  • In consultation with the Company Manager, determine the number and type of professional staff required to meet patient care needs, based on case mix and agency census, to ensure availability of staff when needed.

  • Identifies, monitors and resolves clinical issues which may affect quality of care provided.

  • Assures implementation of necessary orientation/continuing education classes for all levels of personnel, by direct education or scheduling of lectures to complete mandated classes that comply with federal, state, local regulations and Joint Commission Standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher 

  • NJ RN License

  • BLS Certification 

  • Passed the National Council Licensure Examination

Training and Pre-screening:

  • Drug screening

  • College of Direct Support - Online classes for DDD Certifications

  • Preferred

  • Vehicle for Community Transport

  • 1 year Personal Care Experience

  • 1 year Clinical Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
