The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Hospice House is looking for an RN to provide end of life care and symptoms management to patients outside their home.

The Work:  

  • Part-time swing-covering a variety of shift needs.

  • Provides direct nursing care to patients with terminal illness.

  • Management and coordination of care to include both the patient and family.

  • Completes initial assessment of physical, emotional, and spiritual status.

  • Aggressive pain and symptom management, including frequent medication administration and adjustments. Management of IV infusions and titration of drips.

  • Provides education and support related to end of life and imminent death.

  • Open, sensitive, and non-judgmental presence accepting of different beliefs, cultures, and values.

  • Uses electronic documentation to describe symptoms, interventions, physical assessment, education and support provided
