Your Role and Impact As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the Nurse Manager to ensure high‑quality care delivery and a strong, supportive team environment. You will help lead day‑to‑day operations, support clinical excellence, and ensure that caregivers have the tools and guidance they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate, safe, individualized care to patients and support for families Assist with hiring, staffing, scheduling, orientation, and performance assessment Contribute to clinical service planning, policy enhancements, and quality improvement Support departmental communication and foster a culture of openness and collaboration Assist with budget monitoring and resource management Collaborate with and support the department Clinical Educator Perform additional duties as needed to support departmental and organizational goals Qualifications Education Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; required within 6 months of hire Experience Minimum of 3 years applicable nursing experience required Minimum of 2 years leadership experience preferred Financial or budget experience preferred Credentials Current Registered Nurse license in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire Skills Strong problem‑solving, time management, and decision‑making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in MS Office and computer applications Compensation and Benefits PeaceHealth offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package to support caregiver well‑being.
