Job Description​

Hedrick Medical Center is looking for an experienced ED Registered Nurse to join our tight-knit team!

Shift: Full Time Nights

In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.

We are a 21-bed unit, with the flexibility to care for up to 4 ICU-level patients as needed. Our team sees a broad range of patient cases, primarily adult populations. Shift: Full Time Nights, 7p-7a Responsibilities: Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process. Coordinate and implement the plan of care for a group of assigned patients. Delegate appropriate tasks and provide supervision to other patient care staff. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Ensure documentation and care practices comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Demonstrate clinical proficiency and maintain professional standards in all aspects of patient care. Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
