NURSE MANAGER - Full-Time

$10,000 Sign-On/Retention Bonus

 

The Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of consumer care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and facility policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the facility’s philosophy, objectives, education, and quality improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff assigned to his/her unit. The Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring appropriate nursing coverage for his/her unit. The Nurse Manager may on occasion be responsible for working the unit as the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:   Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelors Degree is preferred. A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric/mental health field is required. A minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience is also required.

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current RN license to practice by the Illinois State Board of Nursing. Primary Source Verification shall be required through Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.
