As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will partner with the Director of Nursing to inspire and guide our nursing team, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care that aligns with our mission of transforming ordinary expectations into extraordinary outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Director of Nursing in overseeing all nursing operations within the facility

  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accrediting regulations

  • Serve as a role model, mentor, and leader for nursing staff

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical services and programs

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure residents’ holistic care needs are met

  • Participate actively in committees such as Quality Assurance, Infection Control, Safety, and Leadership

  • Oversee training and onboarding of new nursing staff to ensure excellence from day one

  • Conduct regular staff meetings to address challenges, identify solutions, and celebrate successes

  • Participate in facility surveys and accreditation visits

  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Health Administration preferred

  • Proven leadership experience in a healthcare facility

  • Strong knowledge of OBRA, Joint Commission, and state regulations

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

  • Minimum 2 years in skilled nursing in a leadership role

  • Ability to participate in an on-call schedule and work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and engage teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Passion for working with geriatric and sub-acute populations
