Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Part-Time Wound Care RN to support our residents’ healing journeys. In this role, you will provide targeted wound care, assess treatment progress, and educate residents and their families on prevention and healthy practices.

The ideal candidate is responsible, clinically confident, and able to deliver high-quality care with minimal supervision. Your nursing expertise will directly enhance resident well-being and contribute to our standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As our Part-Time Wound Care RN, you will:

  • Provide wound care following established Standards of Nursing Practice

  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement effective treatment plans

  • Document assessments, treatments, and progress thoroughly and accurately

  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team processes

  • Educate residents, families, and staff on wound care prevention and best practices

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia

  • Wound care experience strongly preferred

  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills

COMMUNITY RELATIONS: Develops positive relationships on behalf of the Company with Government Regulators, Families, Areas Health Care Community and the Community at large. RESIDENT’S RIGHTS: Ensure understanding of and compliance with all rules regarding residents’ rights. STAFF DEVELOPMENT: Supervise, conduct and participate in department and facility education activities and staff meetings. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state. Must be CPR Certified.
