Willis-Knighton's Physical Medicine Department is looking for a staff RN to work a busy, but rewarding inpatient rehabilitation unit. This is a 24 bed unit located on the 3rd floor of the Willis Knighton Medical Center with a 5:1 or 6:1 ratio, with nursing assistant and rehabilitation technician support staff.The patient population primarily consists of neurological and orthopedic patients with medical surgical needs, who require three hours of therapy services per day. RN staff are responsible for providing the highest level of nursing and medical management using a collaborative multidisciplinary approach. Hardworking, dependable, compassionate,and being a team player are just a few of the qualities the applicant must possess. The candidate chosen for this position will be required to attend a hospital wide orientation, and a comprehensive orientation with a preceptor is provided according to experience.
