Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding leadership opportunity for a Full-time, Day shift, Nurse Manager (RN) for 8EH -Inpatient Burns/Plastics Pediatric Trauma unit.
8EH, 8 East Hospital- Acute Care Burns/ Plastics and Pediatric Trauma- is a 24-bed unit that is a part of the Regional Burn Center and Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma center for the WAMI Region. Our staff are specialized in caring for adult and pediatric patients with burns, complex wound care and pediatric trauma. We work closely with multidisciplinary teams and utilize their expertise in order to provide holistic and patient family-centered care to ensure the best possible outcome for our patients.
8EH – Burns/Plastics Pediatric Trauma - Nurse Manager Has 24-hour Accountability And Responsibility For Managing The Nursing Unit To Provide Safe, Efficient And Quality Patient Centered Care. The Nurse Manager Directs And Coordinates All Activities Of The Patient Care Unit Including
- plans, implements, and evaluates unit programs to meet specific patient care needs,
- participate in quality improvement,
- provides leadership to promote professional practice.
- plans and manages the unit budget, and
- provide performance management, corrective action, departmental recruitment, unit education, quality improvement and more.

Schedule
- Fulltime
- Primarily Monday - Friday, but with 24/7 accountability for the delivery of care
- Primarily day shifts, with additional hours as needed
LOCATION:
Harborview Medical Center campus, Seattle, First Hill.
Minimum Requirements
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and two to three years of inpatient nursing experience to include one year in a supervisory position such as an Assistant Nurse Manager.
- Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

$144,000.00 annual

$192,000.00 annual
