Qualifications:

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Oncology certification or successful completion of course within department required timeframe.

Jacobs Health Center brings world-class care close to home for the residents in and around Avon, Ohio. In addition to advanced specialty and primary care, this facility also includes an outpatient surgery center, an infusion suite for chemotherapy, a full-scale imaging center, two pools for aquatic therapy and more . As an RN on this team , you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills. A caregiver in this position works 7:30am—5:00pm/Saturday rotation required : 8:00am—12:00pm (every 5-6 weeks). Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans. Administer medications and treatments. Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
