Deliver expert progressive care to patients requiring cardiac and neuro monitoring
Collaborate closely with physicians and teams in managing hemodynamic monitoring, and neurological monitoring.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, implement evidence-based interventions, and continuously evaluate patient responses.
Support families through education, updates, and compassionate communication in high-stress environments.
Maintain precision in documentation, adherence to protocols, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Participate in ongoing education, training, and remain current with evolving technologies and clinical practices.

What We’re Looking For

Current RN license
Minimum 1-2 years of recent PCU experience
Proven proficiency in managing:
- Non titratable cardiac drips
- Respiratory Care including trach care
- Cardiac & Hemodynamic Monitoring
- IV Therapy and Medication Administration
- Neurological Assessments
- Post-Op or Step-Down Care for cardiac and neuro patients
- Interpreting cardiac rhythms and strips
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills under pressure.

Minimum Training and Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also required. NIHSS preferred but not required.
