This is a per diem, nights, weekends in the inpatient Pediatric oncology/BMT unit at New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

Two years pediatric oncology, NP experience

Required Criteria:

Master’s Degree as PNP or FNP
Current New York State License required as Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner
Board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner
BCLS and PALS certification
APHON Chemotherapy / Biotherapy order writing certificate
Minimum of one year Pediatric oncology NP experience

Essential Functions And Responsibilities Includes The Following Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors. Ensure effective communication with all parties, delivering superior patient care and experience. Coordinates overall clinical program and ensures processes are in place to ensure smooth operation and patient flow for Structural Heart patients referred to the Valve Clinic. Coordinates the clinical interdisciplinary team and services for pre-procedural evaluation prior to heart valve surgery; including but not limited to Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
