Requirements Education and Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations. Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain. Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period. Experience, Competencies, and Skills: At least 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting. Experience with memory care is a plus.
