Job Summary:
Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of rehabilitation and skilled nursing care, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! As a CNA at Unity, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients, promoting their recovery, and improving their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including assisting with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to licensed nursing staff
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and rehabilitation programs
Demonstrate empathy and kindness towards patients, families, and colleagues
Participate in infection control and fall prevention measures
Adhere to Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center's policies and procedures
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients with or without assistive devices
Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p (including occasional overtime)
Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug test
