Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Kansas City, KS

Schedule: PRN Days - 12 hour shiftsCompensation: $43.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
  • Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Competence in Rapid Response and code events
  • Instruct and counsel patients/families
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid State RN License
  • BLS is required at hire.
  • ACLS is required at hire.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience

Perform services in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care (POC). Ensure delivery of care is compliant with the federal and state regulations. Qualifications Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing education. Must be licensed in the state where they currently practice. Must have at least one year experience as a licensed registered nurse (RN). Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device. Education and experience, preferred Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
