Responsibilities and Duties for Caregiver: Licensed caregivers (HHAs/PCAs) will provide the following types of services to our clients: Assist with ADLs and IADLs Ambulation Bathing Personal hygiene Continence / toileting Dressing / shaving Eating / feeding Transferring Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions and special diets Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments Perform housekeeping activities including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom Perform client-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse includes, but are not limited to: Medication reminders Assist with the prescribed range of motion exercises Understanding dementia care Incontinence care Qualifications and Skills for Caregiver: HHA / PCA certification High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred Experience as a caregiver preferred, but not required; experience can be in personal homes or facilities Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile is a plus but not required Right at Home’s mission is simple ... to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Job Title: EMS Driver Department: Emergency Services Location: Gouvernour Hours Per Week: Per Diem Schedule: Variable Position Summary: The ambulance operator is responsible to provide high quality emergency transportation to sick and injured patients. Key Responsibilities: Responds to calls when dispatched Inspect the ambulance before each shift, checking the fuel, oil, transmission fluid, wiper fluid, and coolant, reporting any needed repairs. Check the first aid and medical supplies inventory levels before each shift and ensure the ambulance is well stocked Assist patients onto gurneys and loading them into and out of the ambulance Keep inside and outside of ambulance clean Sanitize the ambulance and safely dispose of any medical waste and soiled linens Administer first aid such as bandaging, splinting, and administering oxygen.
