Acts Home Services (private-duty agency) is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Home Services Manager position.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the resident care operations of our private duty home services. Develops and implements standards, procedures, and processes for delivering care that is safe, therapeutically effective, and complies with all regulations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Current State license as Registered Nurse (RN) or a bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of one year supervisory or management experience (preferred)
  • Minimum of two years' recent home services experience (preferred)
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Current or eligible for certification in CPR

Pay Range

$79,310.00 - $97,073.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.

Assistant Nurse Manager - Cardiac Intervention - 3300

The Cardiac Intervention Unit (CIU) will facilitate care to the following patient populations: patients admitted for cardiac catheterization, elective coronary interventional procedures including PTCA, stent, atherectomy, electrophysiology testing and/or ablation, elective electrical cardioversion, permanent cardiac pacemaker or AICD implantation. CIU's nurse to patient ratio is 1:5. Anticipated length of stay for these patients is less than 48 hours. The unit provides expert quality care to patients utilizing an interdisciplinary collaborative approach in an effort to return the patient to their highest level of wellness. The CIU is committed to providing healthcare that is unmatched in quality, convenience that is patient/family centered. We are seeking a strong candidate who will be supportive, communicative, and an excellent problem solver. They will need to be someone who promotes positivity. The Assistant Nurse Manager will need to actively participate in hiring and training employees; answer questions from patients or employees confidently. Telemetry I/3200 is a 27 bed unit. Working on a telemetry floor presents the opportunity for all nurses to learn and understand how to identify, interpret and manage cardiac rhythms, as well as receiving continuing education on cardiac treatments, medications, and cardiac drips. In addition to cardiac patients, Telemetry I/3200 cares for pulmonary patients (pneumonia and COPD), gastrointestinal patients (gastrointestinal bleeds, small bowel obstructions), ICU step down patients (tracheostomy care, percutaneous endo-gastric tube management, total parenteral nutrition management, foley catheter management, wound care). We are seeking a strong candidate who will be supportive, communicative, and an excellent problem solver. Pre-Employment Requirements: We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required. Requirements: Current Alabama RN License and ACLS/BLS certification required. Must be able to take call, work day shift and night shift, and weekends if needed. Call will rotate with Manager. Proven leadership and communication skills.
