A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to provide specialized healthcare support for a high school student in Boston, MA. This contract role requires dedicated medical care with a focus on managing Diabetes Insipidus and preventing dehydration.

Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 AM – 3:05 PM; Wednesday 8:00 AM – 2:15 PM
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Duration: Immediate start through June 30, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage strict fluid intake and scheduled bathroom breaks according to the student's medical needs
  • Recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of dehydration and elevated sodium levels
  • Provide consistent, knowledgeable nursing care in a school setting
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure the student’s health needs are met during school hours
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate health status as required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active LPN/LVN licensure in Massachusetts
  • Proven medical experience, preferably in school-based healthcare
  • In-depth knowledge of Diabetes Insipidus and its management protocols
  • Ability to complete required background checks including CORI and fingerprinting
  • Commitment to onsite work and availability for a Zoom interview
