About the Role:
As the Memory Care Assistant Director of Nursing, you’ll work closely with the Director of Nursing and the Memory Care Director to oversee daily nursing operations within our memory care neighborhood. You’ll ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered care while supporting and mentoring the care team to deliver with compassion and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist the Director of Nursing in managing all clinical aspects of memory care.

  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring best practices in dementia and Alzheimer’s care.

  • Monitor resident health, coordinate care plans, and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Partner with families and interdisciplinary teams to promote open communication and trust.

  • Participate in staff training, onboarding, and ongoing education for memory care staff.

  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and community regulations.

  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on resident dignity, engagement, and wellbeing.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN or LPN license (required).

  • Previous experience in senior living, memory care, or long-term care leadership (preferred).

  • Strong leadership, clinical, and communication skills.

How you make a difference The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in patient care by contributing to the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working under the supervision of RN(s), the LPN provides direction and guidance in patient education and activities that align with their education and demonstrated competencies. Key Responsibilities Under RN supervision, assesses patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in both the Health Care Unit and housing units, contributing to individualized treatment planning and consulting with RNs and staff as needed.
