We're Hiring: Traveler MDS Coordinator

Hill Valley Healthcare is seeking an experienced Traveler MDS Coordinator to support several of our local skilled nursing centers. We are looking for a strong, knowledgeable MDS nurse who is comfortable stepping in to assist facilities in need and who enjoys mentoring and developing new MDS nurses.

In this role, you will support multiple centers by completing MDS assessments and care plans to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. This is a hybrid position that includes both remote and in-facility work, and occasional overnight travel is required.

You will provide comprehensive training, analysis, and guidance to new MDS nurses, while ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies related to the MDS process, state case mix, and Medicare prospective payment systems.

This role works closely with the Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement to provide support to centers experiencing staffing or compliance challenges. This position offers strong potential for professional growth and advancement.

Requirements:

  • Current nursing license (VA or compact) required

  • Demonstrated knowledge of MDS and Medicare regulations required
