Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Nurse in our Clinical Decisions unit, you will be a compassionate and pivotal healthcare professional, delivering comprehensive nursing care and leading patient-centered care initiatives.

Every day, you will expertly assess patient/family health needs, leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans, and providing technical nursing care to diverse age populations (neonatal to geriatric) with developmental understanding. You'll actively uphold our Organization's Mission, Core Values, and support strategic and Performance Improvement plans.

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills, with an unwavering commitment to patient advocacy and continuous quality improvement.

Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.

What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for a dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team and provide our residents with an exceptional care experience. We need you to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of your Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. What You Will Do: Ensure 24hour availability as nursing administration resource by providing on-call and telephone access or designating an alternative, qualified nursing staff member to do so.
