We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med-Surg team. This unit provides care for a diverse range of general medical patients. In addition to its core responsibilities, the unit also cross-trains with Women’s Services, offering care to postpartum patients and newborns.

What you can expect from this role

Schedule: Full-time Nights (7p-7a)
Professional Development: Cross-trains to Women's; additional opportunities to train to ED and Surgery
Patient Population: Newborns to eldery
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
Unit Capacity: 15 beds
Additional Pay: Differential pay

Qualifications

Education: Associates or Bachelors Nursing Degree
Experience: 1 year of RN experience
Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice; Current BLS Certification

We're looking for someone who thrives in dynamic environments—flexible, quick to adapt, and able to hit the ground running in new teams and settings. You’ll be able to travel and gain experience at all eight St. Luke’s locations – Boise, Meridian, Nampa, McCall, Wood River, Elmore, Magic Valley, and Jerome. Typical assignments are 13-weeks in length at any of our eight St. Luke’s sites across the System but could be as short as one week depending on need. When you're not on assignment, you will be required to work at your home-base hospital. Your “home base” can be located at any of our St. Luke’s sites.
