Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at La Dora Nursing and Rehab, a premier skilled nursing facility in Bedford, Texas. As an LVN with our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, while working a part-time schedule on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each resident
• Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses to ensure seamless care transitions
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the healthcare team and physicians
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Current LVN license in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an LVN
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
