The SANE Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing immediate, routine, and emergency medical needs for clients of sexual abuse and trauma. The SANE RN will coordinate with partner healthcare providers, and complete records maintenance.

Licensure/Certification:  Registered Nurse License in the State of Missouri

Experience / Skills:  

  • Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment.
  • Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Certification.
  • Ability to operate in a challenging, ever-changing, multidisciplinary team environment. 

Job Duties:  

  • Conduct medical Sexual Assault Forensic Exams of child and adult victims.
  • Maintain complete and accurate record of medical / psychiatric / vision / dental visits, medications, supplies and equipment, as well as maintain client files and or data as required by funders, certification bodies, etc. including but not limited to QIS (Visual Share) for MO-NACA and the SAFE-CARE network.
  • Ensure 24/7 after hour coverage of medical staff and perform regularly scheduled on-call medical duties.
  • Attend and participates in team and case management meetings.
  • Maintains continuity among clients' team by documenting and communicating assessments, observations, reports, and continuing needs.
  • Enters all orders, assessments, and records into electronic health record in a timely manner and keeps records updated with current client orders, immunizations, and additional information as required.

We are currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for Full Time Nurses! Must be 20 years old to apply. Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check required. The RN Weeknight Agreement for Camber Mental Health (CMH) works two 12-hour shifts on Thursday and Friday and gets paid for three 12-hour shifts per week. This role is responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient health, collecting and documenting assessment data, and responding to injuries or urgent medical needs.
