LPN School Contract

A full-time licensed practical nurse/licensed vocational nurse (LPN/LVN) position is available to provide specialized healthcare support in a high school setting located near Boston, MA. This role requires strong clinical expertise and experience working within school environments to manage and support students' health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage health services for a high school male student diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus.
  • Ensure strict adherence to fluid intake and bathroom schedules.
  • Identify and respond to signs and symptoms of dehydration and elevated sodium levels.
  • Collaborate with school staff and caregivers to maintain health protocols.
  • Maintain accurate health records and comply with school health policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active LPN/LVN licensure in Massachusetts is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in school health nursing or a similar school-based clinical setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Diabetes Insipidus and related clinical management.
  • Ability to conduct health assessments and respond appropriately to emergent health issues.
  • Completion of required background checks, including CORI and Fingerprinting.
