About River Landing Ambulatory Surgery Center

  • The River Landing Surgery Center at the Ambulatory Care Center will open summer 2024. As an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), it will focus on providing same-day surgical care to patients with added convenience. ASCs have a strong track record of quality care and positive patient outcomes.

About The Career:

  • Functions as an instrument technician, coordinating and assembling appropriate instrumentation for each individual case, passing instrumentation, appropriate medications, and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. Follows the established plan of care and provides direct surgical care interventions within the scope of practice. Works under the supervision of the OR Clinical Coordinator, Director of Surgical Services and/or RN (Circulator). Collaborates with unit/hospital staff and other health professionals.

All About You:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Current Colorado State Surgical Technologist license required.
  • Training & Experience: BCLS Certification. Must have had experience in OB, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Dental, and Urology cases.
  • Job Knowledge: Knowledge of surgical instrumentation - use, care, and cleaning. Ability to manage instruments in the variety of cases listed above.
