Provides leadership and clinical expertise for Texas Health Specialty (10-bed) long term acute care hospital, located within Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, to provide individualized and holistic care for patients with intensive nursing needs.

We care for those with medically complex cases such as:

Ventilator-dependent patients with rehabilitation potential
Multiple trauma patients
Patients with complex wound care
Multisystem failure patients

Here’s What You Need

Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Diploma of Nursing.
BSN preferred
1 year experience as a registered nurse in acute care setting required
2+ years experience as registered nurse in acute care setting preferred
TX Registered Nurse Upon Hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly.
ACLS – within 90 days of hire preferred
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 Days preferred.
LTAC, Critical care or Progressive Care experience preferred
