UNC Internal Medicine at Goldsboro, part of the UNC Health Wayne system, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Medicine or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team. Position Highlights: 

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in a family medicine setting 
  • Conduct routine health maintenance visits, physical exams, and preventive screenings 
  • Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and heart disease 
  • Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses within the scope of primary care 
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to deliver team-based, patient-centered care 
  • Participate in quality improvement, care coordination, and population health initiatives 
  • Monday–Friday schedule, no nights or weekends required

Qualifications: 

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in North Carolina (or eligible) 
  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program 
  • Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care preferred; new graduates with strong primary care clinical rotations are encouraged to apply 
  • BLS certification required (ACLS optional)
