Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Director of Nursing to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the DON will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department, aligning with the organization's mission and vision
Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff to ensure optimal performance and professional development
Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care, promoting a positive work environment and staff satisfaction
Develop and manage budgets, allocating resources effectively to support department operations and goals

Requirements:

Current RN licensure
Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a long-term care or post-acute care setting
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
