Registered Nurse School Setting - Camas, WA

A full-time registered nurse opportunity is available to provide essential healthcare support within a K-12 school setting in Camas, WA. This 12-week contract position will cover a leave of absence and involve working onsite to serve a diverse student population spanning pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care and health services to students across one primary and two middle schools, handling a caseload of approximately 1,550 students.
  • Manage routine health screenings, medication administration, and emergency care as needed.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to promote student wellness.
  • Maintain accurate health records and comply with state nursing regulations.
  • Support health education initiatives and participate in school-wide health programs.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Washington State RN license (required).
  • Strong clinical skills applicable to pediatric and adolescent populations.
  • Experience working in school health or community nursing preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
