About the Role

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with Cedar Park TMS, you will be at the forefront of providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals and families in need. You’ll conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat a range of behavioral health conditions, and develop holistic treatment plans that promote long-term wellness and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose and evaluate mental health and co-occurring conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating therapy, medication management, and supportive interventions.
Provide ongoing medication management including prescribing, monitoring effectiveness, and managing side effects.
Deliver compassionate psychotherapy and counseling to patients and families to promote understanding and adherence to treatment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care, timely communication, and holistic support.
Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
National certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
DEA registration and prescriptive authority for controlled substances.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health or psychiatric settings.
Strong background in psychopharmacology, therapy, and crisis intervention.
Experience working with individuals in IOP, PHP, or community mental health programs.
