As the Assistant Director of Healthcare Services (ADON) with Fieldstone, you will:

Collaborate with the DON for overall nursing leadership within our Long-Term Care, Skilled and Memory-Care areas
Orientate, train, and provide ongoing training and supervision to employees
Assist in the evaluation of the health care services needed for each resident
Serve as the liaison for staff shift transitions
Plan, develop and oversee staffing schedules
Schedule and conduct in-services meetings for staff
Prepare and participate in surveys and inspections made by authorized government agencies
Partner with the DON for nursing operation efficiencies
Oversee infection control program and reporting
Communicate with physicians, family members, etc. regarding resident status as appropriate
Participate in quality improvement activities
Audit skills of nursing staff

Open Shifts Available: Work three 12-hour shifts every week — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday one week, followed by Saturday, Sunday, and Monday the next week.

Qualifications:

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Iowa, graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting.
knowledgeable of state and federal regulations, quality assurance, compliance, and clinical practices.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills to develop/supervise nursing personnel in a team environment.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and skilled in effective delegation.
