UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Internal Medicine / Cardiac Unit.
WORK SCHEDULE
- 90% or 100% FTE
- Variable shifts
Department Description
Our general Internal Medicine/Cardiology unit is a 30-bed medical/surgical unit that provides care and treatment to general internal medicine and cardiology patients. We care for patients with a variety of medical illnesses including pneumonia, liver and gastro-intestinal disorders, infections, diabetes, renal compromise, auto-immune disorders, heart failure, and acute myocardial infarctions. Telemetry monitoring is provided.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Provide acute patient care
- Triage patient care priorities in collaboration with the nursing supervisor
- Follow evidence-based nursing practices
- Monitor and administer medications and IVs
Requirements
- One year current/recent med-surg nursing experience
- Licensed to work as an RN in the State of Washington
- Active BLS certification

$91,152.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum
$165,576.00 annual
Other Compensation
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus and $5000 Relocation Assistance (for eligible new employees) BSN (or higher degree) Premium - $1.00/hour Certification (Specialty Certs) Premium - $1.25/hour Night Shift Premium - $4.50/hour Evening Shift Premium - $2.50/hour Weekend Shift Premium - $4.00/hour
