We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant who will work in this role until enrolling in the next Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) class. This position offers hands-on experience in patient care and serves as a stepping stone toward becoming an LNA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer call lights promptly and assist residents with their needs.
  • Make beds and ensure rooms are tidy and comfortable.
  • Deliver meal trays and assist with meal setup as needed.
  • Provide one-on-one support for residents when required.
  • Transport residents safely to and from activities, appointments, or other areas within the facility.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to compassionate care and resident dignity.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
