Position Summary:
Make an impact in a setting that values compassion, connection, and growth. We offer enhanced pay for Behavioral Health RNs in recognition of the unique skills and experience required in this role. Our Behavioral Health Units provide therapeutic care to patients with psychiatric or neurobehavioral conditions. As an RN, you will play an essential role in promoting safety, stability, and recovery; while expanding your clinical experience and discovering new areas of practice within our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a long-term acute care or rehabilitation setting.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress while ensuring safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication management, and discharge planning.
- Support a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in State of Connecticut.
- Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
- Required: Demonstrated competence in the clinical setting.
