Position Summary

The RN Nurse Designee plays a key leadership role in ensuring quality care for our residents. Acting in the absence of the SALSA (Supervisor of Assisted Living), this position oversees staff and resident care in compliance with state and federal regulations. You’ll collaborate with the Executive Director and department managers to maintain high standards of care and team development.

Essential Responsibilities

Supervise nursing personnel and assisted living aides in daily care delivery
Evaluate clinical competence of staff
Develop and implement care standards, policies, and procedures
Manage staff scheduling to ensure 24-hour coverage
Participate in program planning and budget management
Lead quality management initiatives and promote team development
Provide on-call support as needed

Requirements

Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population
Strong leadership and delegation skills
Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively
Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers
Previous experience preferred but not required

Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours/week
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Every other weekend
