Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse

This position is responsible for providing direct care to patients, assisting with basic clinical procedures, and supporting the team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and maintain accurate medical records while adhering to established protocols and safety standards. Collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals is essential to coordinate care plans and respond promptly to patient needs. As a Certified Medical Assistants or Licensed Practical Nurses, you will:

• Ensure patient confidentiality 
• Work in collaboration with the provider to coordinate the flow of patients through the clinic

You may be a good fit if you have:

• A Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Flexibility in adjusting to variable workload and job duties
• Strong understanding of nursing principles, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Experience working in a cardiac care unit or heart center preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s cardiovascular condition.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, escalating concerns to appropriate medical staff as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in accordance with infection control and safety protocols.
