As a Certified Medical Assistants or Licensed Practical Nurses, you will:

Assist with medical procedures and perform general duties for the provider according to current policies and procedures
Ensure patient confidentiality
Work in collaboration with the provider to coordinate the flow of patients through the clinic

You may be a good fit if you have:

A Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Flexibility in adjusting to variable workload and job duties
Strong understanding of nursing principles, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
Experience working in a cardiac care unit or heart center.

Responsibilities:

Assist with cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout.
Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s cardiovascular condition.
Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to support heart health.
Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, escalating concerns to appropriate medical staff as necessary.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in accordance with infection control and safety protocols.
