Harborview Medical Center's Mobility Program is seeking a CNA / Nursing Mobility Tech.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Full-time - 100% FTE (40 hours per week)
  • Alternate Shift

Position Highlights

  • Direct patient care including exercise, mobilizing, ambulating or positioning as directed by nursing staff
  • Setting up mobility events for patients
  • Be Harborview's expert in mobilizing patients

The successful candidate will also be responsible for the following functions:

  • Ordering and stocking of supplies
  • Maintenance/set up of special equipment and resource for nursing staff on this equipment
  • Participate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem-solving and communication

Qualified Candidates

  • Required: High school diploma or GED
  • Required: Active Nursing Assistant-Certified (CNA) with the State of Washington
  • A minimum of 1-year of CNA experience

CLASSIFICATION: Nonexempt, Hourly HOURS OF WORK: This position offers part-time, temporary employment dependent on Client’s needs. Shifts are generally 1-12 hours long and can result in overtime. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS: · Understand, perform, and adhere to the information and precautions contained in the Client’s Care Plan.
