Duly Health and Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Internal Medicine team in Wheaton. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced group of physicians, a nurse practitioner, and skilled clinical staff who deliver high-quality, patient-centered care every day.
This position also offers the chance to work occasionally at our Carol Stream satellite location, supporting the same provider group and expanding your clinical experience.
Where you'll make an impact:
Team: 4 Physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner
Support: Opportunity to partner one on one with provider
Location: Wheaton (with occasional coverage at Carol Stream)
Clinic Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 7:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (late night rotation)
Friday: 7:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, and collection of health history and vital signs
Support physicians during examinations, minor procedures, dressing changes, and first aid
Administer immunizations and injections as directed
Manage prescription requests, pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, and patient chart updates
Perform onsite lab testing, including EKGs, pulmonary function, glucose, and pregnancy testing
Maintain organized, clean, and patient-ready exam rooms
Deliver exceptional patient service, reflecting Duly Health and Care’s CARE values
May travel to assist other nearby clinics as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required
- Several of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following:
- American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required
- May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
- Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
