Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Completes training and provides perioperative nursing care to patients on designated units within the health system. Participates in Perioperative Training Program with intent to obtain RN II position in surgical services department.

Qualifications

Required:

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current CA RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Basic computer skills
Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes
Training will require ability to work in all surgery specialties which includes training for cardiothoracic surgery and associated call

Preferred:

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Electronic health record experience
Surgical Services experience
