JOB SUMMARY

Home Matters Caregiving is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers who are passionate about helping seniors maintain independence and comfort in their own homes. Our caregiver-first approach means we prioritize your well-being, growth, and success — because great care starts with great caregivers.

As a Home Matters caregiver, you’ll provide essential daily living support, companionship, and personalized care to our clients. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, hygiene assistance, and mobility support.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience with seniors

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed

  • Support mobility and transfers

  • Provide companionship and emotional support

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for clients

  • Follow care plans and communicate changes in condition to appropriate staff

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 or more years of formal caregiving experience in senior care

  • Reliable transportation

  • Familiarity with basic first aid procedures

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements

  • Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers

  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively

  • Physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle

COMPENSATION

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: $14–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
