Job Description

The Behavioral Health House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all inpatient behavioral health operations. The supervisor provides support to staff, coordinates admissions and discharges, manages real-time staffing, and facilitates patient flow. The role also serves as the lead responder for emergency situations, patient and visitor concerns, and staffing issues, promoting a therapeutic and safe care environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience required
Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Candidates actively pursuing BSN with a defined completion date may be considered
CPI required within 30 days
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association, required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing preferred
Previous leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred
