Now Hiring: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be crucial to our team, providing direct patient care and ensuring seamless communication of resident health information.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Daily Documentation of resident care, observations, and treatments with exceptional accuracy.

  • Transcribe physicians’ orders to the Medication Administration Records (MARs) and treatment sheets, ensuring meticulous detail.

  • Notify the pharmacy of new orders, changes, and refills in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician, strictly adhering to all facility protocols and safety guidelines.

  • Proactively monitor residents' conditions, observing for any changes or adverse reactions, and reporting them promptly to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Director of Nursing (DON).

  • Assist in coordinating and implementing resident care plans.

  • Provide direction and supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered.

  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator, contributing to the smooth and excellent operation of the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License within the state of Wisconsin.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles, medical procedures, and resident care standards.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
