Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.  Works with a unit specific patient population.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing:
  • Three (3) years’ experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty
  • Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
  • Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
  •  

    PREFERRED:

  • Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
  • Work Hours:

    6:00pm-6:30am
